How does a Roll-A-Cover retractable enclosure compare to a
retractable awning?
An awning is a cloth or vinyl cover that doesn’t provide
adequate protection during inclement weather. Our product
rolls closed with simple manual effort when bad weather arrives
so your customers don’t have to scramble to come inside, they
will already be in an enclosed glass like structure.
Does a Roll-A-Cover enclosure compete against a full glass
enclosure?
In many ways we are a superior choice for your business as we
are the only product that lets you control the weather. We
can transform from a closed room into a “convertible” room to
provide an un-obstructive view of the skyline so your customers
can enjoy dining outdoors. Imaging not having to supply tons of
air conditioning into a closed glass enclosure space when simply
rolling your enclosure open exhausts the heat buildup that was
once a heat tunnel for your patrons.
Does a Roll-A-Cover enclosure glass have seal failure issues
like those permanent enclosures on the market?
Our glazing combination of twin wall polycarbonate and tempered
glass assures that our glazing will never fog up and requires
only minor washing from time to time.
Why would our outdoor patio benefit from a Roll-A-Cover
enclosure?
As you are well aware, most people would prefer to sit and dine
outside if possible. With our unique room you can now
provide that experience all the time. Most of our
restaurant projects have a 1-2 year return on investment.
Please contact one of our designers and they will be happy to
work with you and provide all the pertinent facts for your
location and with our pre-designed return on investment
calculators, your business could be easily evaluated with
regards to your dollars invested and when you could expect a
return.
Why does Roll-A-Cover state that they are waived from most state
smoking laws?
Most smoking ban laws state that a room must open at least 50%
to the sky in order to qualify as a smoking area. That is
exactly what our room will do provided that the weather
cooperates.
Why would a Roll-A-Cover enclosure change my restaurant or bar
business?
I’m sure that you would agree that most people have “cabin
fever” all the time and if given the choice they would prefer to
dine outdoors. Your sales volume has to do with your
business style and clientele; we can only help keep them there,
to spend money, when the weather turns for the worst.
How does a Roll-A-Cover retractable enclosure compare to the
other types of enclosure products on the market?
Our product is an extremely durable product that will provide
you with unprecedented protection and security from all types of
weather conditions. Also we are retractable giving you the
option to open or close the sunroom with ease as you or your
guests please. Other products will offer less protection
or give you far less versatility in how you can control your
room’s environment.

so your customers don’t have to scramble to come inside, they
will already be in an enclosed glass like structure. Most
retractable awnings can not handle any kind of reasonably higher
winds than normal and they often can’t handle the rain because
they bag up in the center. They simply offer, in a sunny
environment a UV protector. Their cost is often extremely high
by the time you have it installed and it really doesn’t serve
any knd of value for most of the weathering conditions that we
have been receiving.

buildup that was once a heat tunnel for your patrons. When we
see a glass sunroom n a restaurant we often see a expensive
shading system that tries to block out the sun, which is why the
glass enclosure was added. Most of the time the shading system
is left down now the glass enclosure is simply a patio enclosure
because the roof is now blocked. When you talk about efficiency?
Does a Roll-A-Cover enclosure glass have seal failure issues
like those permanent traditionally sold sunroom enclosures on
the market?
Our glazing combination of twin wall polycarbonate on the roof
and single tempered glass assures that our glazing will never
fog up and requires only minor washing from time to time. There
is a tremendous amount of hype regarding insulated glass. If
insulated glass does not have a high tech thermal barrier schild
built into the glass makeup then the probability of this added
thickness of material being a tremendous benefit is very slim.
In addition, the added weight of a insulated piece of glass
controls the depth or span of a enclosure.

your clients have to leave their table because of bad weather or
your linens get weathered on right after you set your luncheon
or diner table. How about the effort required to pull in your
tables, chairs and decorations so that they are stolen when your
business is closed.

business style and clientele; we can only help keep them there,
to spend money, when the weather turns for the worst. Plus, on a
cold drizzly day or when the wind starts to pick up, with our
naturally lit sunroom enclosure, being inside is just like being
outside. Would you rather be locked inside of a dark building or
out where the light makes you happier?
How does a Roll-A-Cover retractable enclosure compare to the
other types of enclosure products on the market?
Our product is an extremely durable product that will provide
you with unprecedented protection and security from all types of
weather conditions. Also we are a retractable telescopic
sunroom product giving you the option to open or close the
sunroom with ease as you or your guests please. Other
products will offer less protection or give you far less
versatility in how you can control your room’s environment. Our
products have earned over 12 North American awards because we
have developed products that are un-comparable to any other
copies in the industry. We have originated dour designs and
extrusion shapes so that architecturally and structurally we can
satisfy designers to building inspectors.
How many restaurants have order more than one enclosure after
they have had time to use their first Roll-A-Cover product?
Amazingly, or not, we have designed and installed several
additional enclosures for many of our commercial clients. They
all have searched for competitive products, reliable service and
cost benefits and they all come ask to us. We provide a quality
driven product with over 25 years of industry experience and a
cost effective enclosure that has proven its worthiness. We
always tell our future clients to sought out any imitations and
if they go by price alone we may be higher, but if they have a
opportunity in touching any other imitations in the marketplace
they then would be assured that our product holds value and a
pristine quality image which is why we have been an award
winning company.
Do you have any projects that we could see so that we could be
more comfortable with this investment?
The answer is, yes and we are proud to show off our projects. We
are a New England based company
so most of our commercial projects are within several hours of
our plant. We do have projects on the west coast and in
Europe so when you call please ask for the most
comparable project to your design so that we could refer you to
the right customer referral.
Do you offer any financing?
We personally don’t finance but we have several companies that
offer leasing plans with a dollar buy out. Based upon your
credit worthiness your rates are usually between 9%-18%.
Remember, sometimes if you borrow money high it’s not all that
bad when you are a income producing business. The banks and
leasing companies want a fair share for funding your growth and
added income so don’t be afraid to share your added wealth. The
bottom line and if you run a responsible and successful
business, your added cost would be a smidgen of your added
revenues thus profits. Never be afraid to spend if it means that
you will receive
I noticed that you have a return on
investment calculator on your site, does it work for my
application?
This return on investment calculator was
developed as a general outline software design for all kinds of
outdoor patio’s. You simply type in your response to each
question and a approximate term of payments to months will be
your final answer. We do understand that there are many other
variables that could affect your bottom line but assuming that
marketing, rent, utilities, etc are a fixed based upon your
regular business costs that your outdoor patio is simply an
extra. Most restaurants have earned enough added income for a
2-3 year return.
I noticed that you have installed several
project on the rooftops of high rises, are they restaurants as
well?
Yes they are for the most part. Most of our
rooftop enclosures are used for restaurants and nightlife bars.
They have become a simple of Roll-A-Cover’s successes because of
our unique and exclusive approaches to developing sunrooms that
can be easily craned onto a roof in one piece or in a few
sections for a quick install. The excitement that we have
created throughout the high rise industry of developers is over
whelming. Imaging utilizing a rooftop of a hotel for as a added
income producing venue and most of the time having it be your
greatest income producing tool. Who doesn’t want to see the city
lights whether it’s a nice day and the telescopic sunroom
enclosure is open or on a dreary day when this telescopic
sunroom enclosure is closed. We have installed penthouse
enclosures on the Grammercy Park Hotel, Empire Hotel, Heights
Restaurant and many, many more plus many on their way in
Manhattan.
We are working with a designer/architect on
our expansion project and we would like to know if you have a
team of designers that can also be a part of this new sunroom
enclosure and patio project?
Our experiences span for over 7 decades in
the construction industry and over 5 decades in the sloped
glazing and sunroom industry. Our in house design team coupled
with our innovative management would be priceless to you and
extremely helpful to your design team and most of all, as long
as we have a commitment from you, we never charge for our time.
Possibly for traveling costs if it is outside our local area but
that about it.
